So I haven't gamed in a few months. just using my system to stream television. Had the day off today from work and decided to play Destiny. Suddenly it's not seeing my expansion so I look and it says I already have 3 systems activated and to deactivate. So I go to deactivate and it says I already have in the past 6 months. I absolutely did not. I call the help line, wait on hold for 30 minutes and when i finally get a person I'm told there's nothing he can do, that I have to request a deactivation online and wait 1-2 days for a response.
Now before i get the obligatory "You gave out your password" or "You Gameshared" know that I am a 40+ year-old adult and I know better than to do either. There is absolutely zero chance that either thing happened.
I understand the need to investigate the request. But I'm pretty sure I sufficiently proved my identity as owner of the account and system. But I am locked out for up to 2 days from content I purchased?... Doesn't make a ton of sense to me. In 20+ years of gaming I've never heard of anything like this. Should have stuck to PC gaming I guess.
