My account was recently hacked with my amex connected to this acount. Long story short the culprit attempted to make out with almost 200 dollars in transactions. I quickly called my credit card company and had them initiate a claim for fraud and will be getting in touch with sony. The reason i am writing however is that some of my friends with past experience had told me that when faced with a similar situation were forced by either xbox live or psn to cancel their account as a result of the fraud claim with their credit card company or bank.
Has anyone else gone through this and is this still the modus operandi?
