Just got a Playstation today so that I can play No Man's Sky. Apparently on Playstation you need to fill your "wallet", which is different from Xbox where you just put in the credit card information and download the game. Honestly it seems like Xbox has a much better interface in general.
So for whatever reason it's telling me that my credit card information isn't accurate, I've put it in 4 different ways for the billing address and still nothing. I called the bank and they said the transaction had been authorized for only $0 instead of the $150. They told me I had to call Playstation to fix it.
Well there's no phone number to call, obviously, and to get to the automated chat bot help it needs me to put in my "Playstation online ID", which I remember putting in as Spazik420. It shows an error saying that's wrong, so I tried putting in the email address I used when I signed up. Still nothing.
I'm at a loss now. I have a Playstation and no games to play on it. The "Playstation Network" interface is an unworkable mess that looks like it was last updated in 2005. I'm doing this thing called "initializing" now, I don't know if that will delete the information I had on there, but it wasn't working in the first place anyways. I'm going out for a walk now to cool off and let this "initializing" thing take it's hour, I hope when I get back the "initialization" works or somebody on this forum can at least help me figure out why Playstation is failing on me right now.
