This is now my fourth attempt to resolve an issue I was just told is unable to be helped. Inserted is an image of my last live chat conversation for full details.
Essentially this is my scenario. I am unable to play my purchased digital content offline because my PS4 (My only connected console) is not my primary console somehow. This happened recently without my knowing or doing. When I attempt to activate it as my primary account I am told another PS4 is already my primary PS4.
I have not deactivated all consoles in well over a year yet my first conversation with support mentioned my account was deactivated in June of this year (2016). I.Did.Not.Do.This. I did not share my account with anyone. I have no idea how this occurred. The only PSN actions I have taken as stated below in the image is that I have changed my password and confirmed my sign in ID.
This is EXTREMELY frustrating as I frequent offline gatherings to play content I have purchased digitally. Only now I am unable to do so.
The rep who helped me in the live chat below mentions there is not an option to fix this other than to wait the 6 month period for another deactivation. This is absurd and ridiculous. I get that Sony wants to prohibit frequent game sharing and workarounds for users to play free content but I AM NOT ABUSING ANYTHING. I simply want to play the content that I have paid for in full. I am at a loss, I have tried activating licenses and other random online tips without any success.
Please Sony, please help me on this. I want to remain a loyal customer as I truly do love Sony and their products but this is too much. I hate to do an emtpy threat of legal action but I'm fairly certain this is illegal at this point. To prevent me from playing content I own outright.
