((Just want to start this out with saying I apoloize if i sound a little flustered. It's just the problem is getting really annoying now...))
I've actually been having this problem for about 3 months, The problem disappeared about 3-4 weeks ago, and i was able to get some good time on overwatch for a couple of days, until i turned on my ps4 and the same problem was back again, which is what makes me believe that my internet is not at fault. Absolutely nothing changed in my internet stability or status. I've called my provider mutliple times, they've come out multiple times, i've changed my internet's settings multiple times. My internet is not at play. I even took it to 2 different houses and attempted using their internet and it still didn't work. So please, don't tell me my internet is at fault unless you are also stating that the entire country of Hungary's internet is as well.
I am technically still logged into psn, but i am not able to access the store, play online games, download updates or use applications like Netflix or youtube (this part really confuses me)
I have not been able to sign into psn, and almost every time i try to fix it, using a different solution, i've come across a different error code. So far I have recieved (looking through my error history):
- CE-33987-0 (and i know the psn was currently online as my friends were playing together at the time)
- NW-31453-6
- NW-31247-7
- CE-33992-6
Just within a month, i have racked up a total of 52 errors from constantly trying to fix it. Every different solution i've found hasn't worked, leading me to a different error code as listed above.
Solutions I've tried:
- Restarting my router
- Restarting both my router and ps4
- Using a wireless connection
- Using a wired connection
- Changing dns settings (both primary and secondary)
- Changing mtu settings
- Attempting to log out of psn and sign back in (this one even took me a step backwards because now i'm not even signed into my account at all.)
- Restoring default settings
- Changing my psn password (a single website i saw said this should "really really help", and it really really didn't)
- Busting out my old apple airport and using that to boost my internet... Which it actually did, so good news is my laptop has quite good internet now.
- Taking my ps4 half way across the city and attempt to use my friend's internet (which btw is form a different provider) and that didn't work. This same friend then proceeded to use his ps4 right afterwards, connected to the same internet as i was, and play flawlessly.
- Take my ps4 down stairs to another friend's house and attempt it again (also owns a ps4 and able to use it without problem)
The one thing i've noticed is that i'm getting incredibly slow upload and download estimates, and while i understand it's an estimate, my upload still shouldn't be 17 kbps.
Could that possibly be the problem?
