I have a hunch this is because of the down time from yesterday (February 1st) and it's probably still going on but I saw from various other sites saying that PSN was back up.
I live on the west coast and I'm still getting those damned "DNS Error 80710102". I do the connection test and it can get my IP address but the Internet Connection part fails. I've tried resetting my modem, turning it off for 30 seconds then replugging it, pretty much anything I could think of. Internet works for everything else in my home except for my PS3.
Any kind of help would be appreciated at this point. Thank you in advanced.
