So, I try to play my PS4 this morning, only to find it refuses to connect to PSN. It connects fine to the internet, and every site I go to says that the PSN services are running just fine. Now I'm wondering why my PS4 isn't signing into PSN like it should.
I've done everything I've seen suggested online to fix it. Changing the DNS, MUT, Restoring Settings and Rebuilding Database from the PS4 Safe Mode menu. I've reset my router and modem. I've power cycled my PS4. Nothing works and I'm angry. I paid full retail price and $50 every January to use this PS4.
Services I pay for aren't working. I never had this problem from my PS3. Not once did I have toruble connecting to PSN when everything said it was working fine. So why is it I've had more issues form my PS4 in the couple of years I've had it than I have the combined time of every console I've owned before and after it?
If this is what you have to offer, Sony, it's no wonder people are jumping ship to other consoles. We're bombarded with ads on the XMB, can't customize anything, and are forced to have programs we don't want installed on our consoles. The PS3 XMB was perfect. We could sort our game sinto categories, and didn't have to put up with anything if we only played games, because it had a games tab that let you ignore eveerything else.
If this continues, I'll no longer buy Sony products.
