contacted live chat on 10/04
i have a 50 dollar psn code that i want to redeem but my account had 133 usd and was not able to redeem because of the limit.
after contacting live support the person asked me for the code and i provided him the code.
after checking the code he says the code is valid but unfortunately i cannot redeeem unless i spend some money first in my account.
i asked if there is an alternative method he can provide and he said yes he can escalate this and hopefully get it redeemed into my account.
1) there was no reply since that day
2) no emails or whatsoever was sent to me
3) not even a case number
today after spending some money ( to buy overwatch ) i wanted to redeem that 50 dollar code i have and it says invalid.
i contacted live support again and they were being very very very dodgey,
1) i asked when did they send me the email but they avoided my question
2) i asked what was the details of the email sent to me and they avoided my question again.
instead they are now asking me to provide a photo proof of my purchase of a card which was very long ago and i deleted the email ( bought digitally online )
i hope this thread can get out and show how irresponsible psn support can be and who knows one of their staff might have actually redeemed my code.
