My PSN ID I've had for years got flagged as inappropriate. I had to call them and change it, lost my trophies, friends, etc. The usual deal for that situation, apparently. Whatever, I'm not that concerned about trophies. However, now I just basically can't do anything. It takes several full minutes to load my friends list, which now contains a total of two friends. When I try to message the friends I've re-added, the messages just instantly disappear for me. Apparently they receive some of them, but not most of them, and I receive no messages from them. Try to go to parties or start a party, it shows that it's going to create a party with my old PSN ID, then I get an error code. Dark Souls 3 just claims I'm offline no matter what I do whenever I start it up. Some other games like Smite seem to load up and connect my account no problem, but I can't send in-game party invites to anyone. When I got to the Account tab on my ps4, it still shows my old PSN ID. If I log onto the playstation app on my phone or my account on this website, it shows the new account name as it should. I've deleted the user from the ps4 and created a new one. I've done all the obvious stuff for connection issues like restart my router and my ps4, and tried it with wifi and ethernet cable, just to see if perhaps I happened to run into some weird connection issues at the same time as having to deal with the name change, hoping perhaps the occurrences of it showing my old ID weren't related to the connection issues and that might just eventually update to the proper new ID. No change. I even bothered to do the full initialization and reset my ps4, but all of the aforementioned problems persist. I dunno. Nothing's working, everything is all weird, and I can't find any posts about similar issues, so I'm hoping someone might have some idea what to do here.

WS-36726-4 When I attempted to activate the ps4 as my primary device upon creating a new user profile, and again when I did the same after the initialization
NP-31966-5 When I try to make a party or sometimes when I simply open the parties menu
NP-32161-3 When I try to sync trophies, of which I know I now have zero, but still an error.
