Unable to purchase anything from PSN

Howdy do, fellow gamers

 

Today marked my first (would be) purchase with my newer Debit Card, as my bank had spontaneously decided to deactivate my old Debit Card a year before it was meant to expire. That said, I went in to add the new info via the PSN app, which pretty much stayed the same in terms of address and name, outside of the new numbers and the expiration date of the new card. I went along to go and make the purchase, with said game in my cart, and right as I decided to go with "proceed with payment", the app went and told me that "transaction cannot be processed" and to try again later. I went along and tried to use the desktop version of the site as well, but to no avail, the Store told me the same thing.

 

Now there's about six or so "Missed Charges" on my history on my account, so I dearly hope my bank doesn't think I'm trying to steal something from myself or better yet, get charged six times for the same purchase that didn't go through six times. Before it's asked, there's no given error code here, so I can't search it. All it says is "transaction cannot be processed, try using your PS console instead". Honestly, what gives, Sony?
