Last year I was on an ESO binge. In the months of June to November I played ESO all day every day and I was loving life.
Around the 8th of November, an email is recieved telling me of a PS4 purchase using my PayPal, for around 160 Malaysian dollars. I live in England and wasnt aware that Malaysia even had their own currency. My card details had been leaked, which I can only assume it was a breach in Sony security because who gives out card details to anyone, let alone someone on the other side of the globe.
After learning of this, I emailed PlayStation support to tell them it wasnt me who made the purchase, the things purchased werent even on my PS4, and in the panic I also contacted PayPal to ask for a refund.
PayPal got in contact with me before Playstation did and said they would see what they could do, so I thought "Hey, problem solved.". When PlauStation support got in contact I told them about what I was doing with PayPal and said sorry for wasting time, to which I was responded with basically "You and PayPal cant do that without our permission." and I recieved a swift perma ban.
Long story short I was banned for being robbed and trying to get my money back, great.
I would like to know if I could do anything to get my PS4 account back. I dont really care about the money anymore but I care about all the progress on all the games I had lost (I estimate that from digital downloads, DLC etc, I lost around £150-£200)
Thanks
