To anyone who works with Sony/PSN. You guys really need to get your act together. I lost my account because someone changed the email on my account WITHOUT my autherization. You guys need to find a better way of fixing this because I am NEVER getting another account and products with you guys till you change details on the people who lost their account and how they can get it back without jumping through millions of hoops to prove that this is their account.
First you wanted info on me, that's great. I gave every detail you asked for. I gave you the original email account name, the username ID, my name and birthday. HOWEVER, you wanted the serial number of the device I originally created my account on. I could have sworn it was my PSVita that my husband got me for my birthday. Turns out we made the account on the PS3 that we had that DIED over a year and a half ago. There was no way of fixing it since it was one of the first generations of PS3s and the warrenty was beyond expired, so we threw it away. So tell me how the hell am I suppose to know that serial number? All I wanted was my account back, you said you sent the email to reset my password. I never received it. I've waited over 24 hours on this.
It's absolutely easier to get my Microsoft account back than it is with your crappy PSN. They also have an authenticator you can attach to the account as well as a 2-step verification. Do better Sony, cause you lost a customer not only with me, but my husband as well, who was a long time member of the PSN.
Don't bother sending/replying to this because 1. this is an old email address that I don't bother going to except for back up, 2. I won't be back to even see responses to this. Not untill I see some sort of announcement that you're changing your policy with the PSN and that you're adding more protection to your customers so they don't lose their account.
